Here is the overview for the month of May...

• We drove up to Tilden and enjoyed a yummy picnic dinner Rex made for Mother's Day.
• Rex studied like crazy for his 8 finals and did well!
• In celebration of finishing finals we went to a couple of movies Rex has been wanting to see.
• My family came to visit last week and we got to go see WICKED!!! We all loved it!
• On Saturday we took our Cub Scouts on a hike and saw some huge banana slugs.

The highlight of the month for me was when my family came to visit. This was the first time my mom has been to the Bay Area so we tried to see as much as possible. Here is what the week looked like:

SUNDAY-
Church at the beautiful Berkeley building.
Watching all of our favorite funny home video clips (thanks for bringing those Melis).

MONDAY-

Giants's Game

Until the shade got to us about the 6th or 7th inning we were roasting in the sun!

The Giants killed the Orioles!

After the game we drove over to the touristy area and walked out on a pier to get a good view of Alcatraz.
After that we stopped by Ghiradelli Square and Fisherman's Warf for a yummy clam chowder dinner!

TUESDAY-

THURSDAY-
Oakland Temple

After the temple we went to lunch at Barney's to celebrate Rex's upcoming birthday. Yummy burgers! Our next stop was IKEA and then the movie theater to see Star Trek.
