My newest niece!

Rex's sister Becky gave birth to Haleigh Sherie Hale on June 16, 2009 at 11:12 pm. She weighed 7 lbs 7 ounces, and was 20 ½ inches long.

What a doll! She is the first of three nieces being born into the Kimball family in the next few months. Our little guy is going to have lots of girls to play with! I can't wait to meet her!

Haircut

This is my last post today, I promise. I've been telling Rex every day for the last three months or so that I need to get my haircut and I FINALLY did it.

Tahoe and Teresa's Wedding

After church last Sunday we jumped in the car and drove 3.5 hours to Tahoe for my friend Teresa's wedding. We arrived a little bit earlier than we planned so I pulled over and got some pictures of the beautiful scenery. This was the first time Rex and I have ever been to Tahoe and I loved it! I can't believe I spent my whole childhood growing up in Nevada and I never knew there was such a beautiful place in my state!






My friend Teresa and I go way back...we've been friends since 5th grade (maybe even earlier than that). I was so glad she got married somewhere close enough for me to attend! Here are a few pictures from her big day.

More Birthday Fun

A few days after Rex's birthday we invited some of his friends over for dinner and to help us eat Rex's huge birthday cake. His favorite is Texas sheet cake and its big enough to feed an army!

Birthday Boy and Baby_____???

Yesterday Rex and I celebrated his 28th birthday! We started out the day like any other with Rex at the hospital on his rotation. The first thing he did when he got home was open his present.


The highlight of the gift bag was MarioKart for the Wii. Rex said something like, "I'm turning 28 and I'm still getting video games" (with a big smile on his face). Do boys ever grow out of those? I do have to admit that I think MarioKart is a fun one.


For dinner we went to Chevy's and had a yummy dinner and Rex was so excited to wear the sombrero when they sang him a birthday song (not really). Our final stop was to go to the movie theater and watch UP, which I have to say is one of our new favorite movies. Go see it!

It was a good day but I think Rex's best birthday gift of all was finding out today that we are going to have a baby BOY!!! Rex had a huge smile on his face when the ultrasound technician told us that it was a boy. I knew it all along!
