San Francisco Zoo

We have a bucket list of things to do in the bay area before we move at the end of May. With the day off for President's Day we decided to get out of the house and go to the San Francisco Zoo.

Our first stop was to see the gorillas and I just loved seeing the mama and baby ones!

Pretty soon after we left the gorilla exhibit, Adam looked like this...

and he woke up just in time to see the flamingos!

We had a great time being together and seeing so many of God's wonderful creations.

Fourteen Weeks

Adam is definitely being well fed. I love his belly!
Here are a few more pics from after bath time.

I'm still trying to get a non-blurry picture of Adam's smile!

My little baby...

rolled over yesterday! Twice in a row. I can't believe it. I've always heard that kids grow fast but this is a little faster than I expected!

3 Months

Happy 3-month Day Adam!

Adam always looks so serious when I get the camera out. I think he is still trying to figure out what the heck that little silver flashing thing is.

Super Baby! Adam loves to have daddy fly him around.

I love to watch Adam sleep! He looks so peaceful and he often smiles which makes me wonder what he is dreaming about. Heaven? What do you think?

This picture makes me laugh. Tonight Rex was totally falling asleep while Adam was happily playing with his toy. Ha ha!

My new favorite thing from Adam's current stage is his baby talking. It is so darn cute! Here is a little clip of it:

All About Adam

Our baby is two months old today! Can you believe it? He has started smiling a lot more the last couple of weeks which I absolutely LOVE! Here is my attempt at catching one on camera.

Here are his stats from his doctor's appointment:

Weight: 11 pounds 10 ounces (60th percentile)
Height: 23 inches (7oth percentile)
Head measurement: 41.75cm (95th percentile)

I have a bunch of random pictures from the last couple of months to share but they aren't very good quality. I need a better camera and better lighting. But these will have to do for now. Warning: this post is long!

Two Weeks Old

Adam does much better when his dad is burping him. This kid can burp super loud!

One Month Old

Adam loves to stretch out while he is sleeping.

Adam loves to suck on his pacifier until he falls asleep.

Adam helping Daddy decorate for Christmas.

Adam all bundled up for his first walk in the stroller.

If Adam is awake in the car he will cry every time the car stops. When we start moving again he turns off the crying as fast as you can flip a switch.

Adam gets the hiccups at least once a day.

Six Weeks Old

Adam is a wiggle worm and we have to hold on tight whenever he is in our arms.

Adam usually has a very serious look on his face.

Teresa, this one is for you. I promise I didn't touch his hand. He did it all by himself!

Unfortunately Adam loves to cry too!

Adam has thrush so he gave me a big pot for Christmas to boil all of his bottles and pacifiers in.

His dad helped him do an amazing wrapping job. It was really fun to open!

It was just the three of us together for Christmas this year and Adam still got tired out from all the excitement.

Dad's Fred Flinstone dinner from T-Rex

I think he liked it.

Two Months Old

Adam looks worried in the picture but he really loves his bath time.

Waiting for midnight on New Year's Eve.

Adam knows how to party in his sleep. He always ends up in a crazy position!

Adam loves to look at peoples faces and see them smile.

Adam's newest favorite thing to do it stick his fist in his mouth and try to suck one of his fingers.

Two Years

As of December 28th Rex and I have officially been married two years. Thanks for all of the memories so far.

Love ya Rex!
